A tea cozy is a padded “hood,” usually made of quilted fabric, to place over a teapot like a blanket to help keep the hot water in the pot warm while the tea is infusing. After the first cups of tea are served, the cozy can be replaced on the teapot to keep the remaining tea warm for future servings.
